| Throw caution to the wind and start blogging--today! |
For today's task, create a blog. You can use Blogger, WordPress, or Tumblr. In fact, you can use another blogging platform if you wish. To complete today's challenge, do the following:
- Create a blog. That is, sign up (if you don't already have a blog), pick a design (these can usually be altered later if needed), and complete your profile.
- Write a post for today. If you're not sure what to cover, you can just introduce yourself and share a brief explanation of how your blog got started. Don't make it too complicated.
- Share your blog URL in the comments below. I'll go through and create a list of blog URLs, so that we can easily find, follow, and friend each other in the blogosphere.
Here are some tips for established bloggers:

- Blog Design Tips for Non-Designers.

Yesterday, I forgot to post my Twitter, so here it is: @Phoenix_EM
Looking forward to next tasks to complete :-)
and wishing everybody in this nice community a wonderful day!
I have two. One for poetry, one for cooking.
Misk Mask Alphabet Soup de Jour is for poetry, and <a href="http://miskcooks.com> Misk Cooks </a> is for cookery.
~ Misky
My first blog probably with many flaws is
www.ajaroffireflies.blogspot.com
Here's my blog, will try and drop in on some of you today.

Hi Robert,
I am so lousy at social media, but I am blogging along behind you on this topic, including my resistance. But twitter is the most confusing. I did it, finally, one tweet, and I was immediately distracted by what my friends in political positions were doing and saying . . .
And all these random tweets. It is insane!
I think my handle is just @NinAndrew
In think I might get stuck on day 4 . . .
Perfect timing! I just updated my business blog last night: http://www.annhovsepian.com/?p=440.
This was a busy week so it's been convenient to have the last three exercises be things that I've already done. :D
Please feel free to include my Twitter to your list: @AnnHovsepian.
I think everyone gets distracted at least a little bit initially on Twitter (or any social network really), Nin. Don't let Twitter stop you. :)
This week has been crazy busy for me too, Ann-Margaret, and I even took three days of PTO starting yesterday. Of course, it's spring break here, which means all 5 of the kids are home all day every day.

Like Misk, I have two blogs:
Practicing Writing focuses on writing and publishing, with a concentration on fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction.
My Machberet focuses on matters of specifically Jewish literary and cultural interest ("machberet" is the Hebrew word for "notebook").
And I, too, forgot to include my Twitter handle: @erikadreifus.
Finally, I, too, am glad that I had already "done" several of this week's challenges. Off to the day job momentarily!
I've been up and running for 2 years on my blog! I will try to have a new post tonight as I blog weekly at minimum. Here's my link: www.boltoncarley.wordpress.com
And I love that you're putting together a twitter list for us. Excited about that!
So this is like a class and we get to interact with each other - cool!
I started blogging in 2009, I guess as a place to share my family tree finds. I mostly write about genealogy, books and writing.

Done!
I tend to think prismatically; hence, my need for millions of blogs.

Robert, this is a link to my second post in a new series that I just started called "How NOT to be a Good Parent". I am a horribly inconsistent blogger, and, thanks to reading Not Bob posts, I have set a goal for my self to do two series for the next year: the NOT parenting one on Thursdays and a GOOD parenting one on Tuesdays. At a week in, I realize already what a challenge it is to post your screw-ups online, but I think it's going to really help me grow as a blogger, writer, parent, and husband. Thanks for all your hard work! I only have two kids and one job and I seem to barely keep up.

Right now, I’m not ready to offer my URL - I will June 1. I’m in the process of building my first blog. I’m deciding between Google and WordPress.com (I have blogs prepped in both arenas). The purpose of my blog is to empower and encourage people to be their best no matter what life throws their way. I’m a writer, speaker and teacher and will incorporate life experience, research and whatever dances its way onto the page.
Thank you for this process, its helping me continue to stay on task.
Ah, I'm 3 for 3 here in terms of what I already had, and thankfully, today I was able to use the same exercise for both my writing challenges! This is not me feeling too proud, because I'm waiting for He Who is Not Bob to stick me with a whammy.
I used Drupal to build my website and integrated blog. For the moment it's overkill for what I'm delivering. I'm using more of its features to build and maintain my business site, but I'm thinking long-term. One day in the hopefully not so distant future I'll be able to drive an interactive site for my readers, give a different layer to my books. Anyway, here's a small excerpt from today's post followed by the URL:
E-mail is the Devil
As convenient as e-mail is, there are times when I think my life was a little more productive when I didn't have an inbox competing for my attention. It can be a time suck, and for struggling writers who want to push out that great American story, it's also a convenient excuse to postpone the simple act of sitting down and doing it. Yet, e-mail is not going anywhere. A survey recently found that despite its marketing appeal, e-mail is still more popular than social media.

My blog [Wander, Ponder, Poems & Pix) can be found at:
http://wanponpopix.blogspot.com/
And, I only just got my Twitter profile set up. I am @PSCinCT. (I'll add this to yesterday's comments too.)
Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone! :-] PSC
Robert,
In this series, could you possibly discuss your opinion on how fiction writers can build their platform through their blog?
I've posted some older short stories and poems on my website in the past but I've read recently that publishers now consider that "previously published work".
How can we build interest in our writing if by posting it, we lose any chance of publication in a major publishing house?
Or is that the million-dollar question?
-------
My website is at www.laurenmillerbooks.com
My blog covers a range of topics from my journey in the writing process including what I'm learning about writing that I'm sharing with readers. I also post on cultural events in the Midwest (currently just the STL area), book and film reviews, and occasionally, articles about pursuing your dreams and just life in general.
Meg Miller - I strongly recommend Wordpress as a very writer-friendly platform for blogging. I haven't tried out Google yet.
Nice idea, compiling a list. I look forward to it.
My blog is Life on the Funny Farm, url is:

Hi! My blog is www.motivationforcreation.blogspot.com
I tried to make a niche of motivational/inspirational posts about writing and success. Getting an audience is slow going, but I am getting more views since twitter :) I also have noticed more page views since increasing to two posts a week. That's about all I can handle, and still work, be a mom/wife, and write fiction!
The place I could do better is linking. I'm going to have to think on that one a little.
I'm at http://rhymeswithtao.blogspot.com, www.mealsmykidsdontlike.com, and www.brokedamoutgrindz.com. Thanks!
I'm new to twitter and blogging, so I'm excited to see the compiled lists of tweeps and blogs. I'm looking for more people to follow!

My blog URL: http://www.laurenmillerbooks.com/
Looking forward to tomorrow's challenge!
Here's me (De Jackson):
http://whimsygizmo.wordpress.com/
I've had my blog for a little while now, and even though I like blogging better than Twitter I'm still not very consistent with it. That's something I'd like to improve.
http://catewrites.wordpress.com
I've had my blog for about a year and a half now, and just re-did the design. I'm really struggling with coming up with a post that has "takeaway value" every week day...I'd love any ideas anyone might have on how I can simplify my blog so it appeals more to my audience (teen girls) and doesn't stall out. Teen girls have such varied interests, I find it hard to pick a cohesive topic for the whole blog.
It is www.ashleywritesagain.blogspot.com
I'm still looking through all the links in this post to see how I can improve my blog, but it's up and running at http://www.rhondaparrish.com
:)
I have several blogs, but the two most appropriate to this discussion are my teaching blog http://artistryofeducation.blogspot.com/ and my poetry blog where I write poetry for my classroom: http://poemsofsilliness.blogspot.com/
My blog is about two months old. It was an unfamiliar step, but finally I am growing comfortable with the idea of having words 'out there' all the time.
As the majority of my readers have been Facebook friends and other acquaintances, it has worked to tailor my posts toward memoir and personal experience, so far.
I expect this may change in time, but who knows.
www.kirkcrady.wordpress.com
I began blogging in 2002, the same year I discovered a talent for poetry.
A friend clued me in to blogging as a way to express myself both personally, and creatively.
That first blog was quietly retired in October 2007, and my current personal blog was started, as a change in direction.
In 2003 I started what I believe was the first Bike blog in the US, and I closed it, to little notice, in 2010.
Because of my writing, on The Cycling Dude, I was invited to speak on Bike Commuting at an REI, and the Riverside Cycling Club, the oldest club west of the Miss River, was quoted in a book, and invited to cover the screening of a major cycling documentary.
Both blogs can still be found online, though comments have long since been closed. :-D

*** My current personal blog, started in 2007, is
Musings of a Mad Macedonian
http://www.madmacedonian.com
One thing I'm proud of is having been invited to be a Citizen Press Corp memember of our Local Symphony for a year, a few years back.
My Cat, Nikita, was my original Creative Muse in 1998, as a Kitten, and a co-blogger since 2002. :-D
He became more active in the Cat Blogosphere from 2005 onward, and I "finally" gave him his own place on New Year's Day 2010 (My serious bad for waiting so damn long!). :-D
The young Elvira Mistress of Felinity is my other cat, and Nikita's Protege, & co-blogger, since the fall of 2010.
They are more popular than I am, and we have gotten invited to do some cool things due to their writing talents. :-D

I've been up at www.sarahnego.blogspot.com for a few months now. My posts have been a bit sporadic so I'm trying to get into a M-W-F habit.
Here is my blog link. I started it in February, essentially as a way to start getting my story out there. My mother, very suddenly, fell apart due to mental illness and it has been agony. My blog is, hopefully, step one to building a platform so that I can get articles and a memoir published ...maybe help others feel less alone in a similar situation.
www.thisismentalserious.blogspot.com
I started a blog in March and am still learning.
it is http://johnmorrisbenson.com/
I've got this one covered. I have a few blogs right now. Some are more active than others due to monthly challenges, etc.
My blogs are:

http://claudsy.blogspot.com/

I always encourage others to stop by for a look-see.
I didn't see yesterday's post when I look at the blog on my phone, so here's my Twitter handle @branwrites
I have a blog, sad as it is. I'm trying to improve it by actually posting things, haha. You can find it at http://branwrites.blogspot.com
Here's the thing, Robert. I've had a facebook page, twitter account and blog for years but all three are personal, created to keep in touch with friends and family. Think I need to scrap them and start over or just change the tone?
I'm enjoying the daily challenges!
My latest blog entry (yesterday) is about 'celebrating' St Patty's Day even though it's the anniversary of my Dad's death:
www.a-caryling.blogspot.com
Awesome! This is really giving me some great ideas.
Here's my URL:
http://fromsarahwithjoy.blogspot.com/
And Twitter, since I forgot yesterday:
@sarahthewriter1
I'm participating in the April A to Z Challenge as well, so my blog post is already up. I will read the optimizing posts after writing/work time is over.
Meanwhile, here's my url:
http://www.bethstilborn.com
Also, there was a typo in Joanna's blog url (I follow her blog all the time, it's wonderful!) Her's should be
http://joannamarple.com
I've got too many blogs already. Here are three: http://www.childlessbymarriage.blogspot.com, http://unleashedinoregon.blogspot.com, http://writeraid.wordpress.com.
I didn't post my twitter handle yesterday. It's @suelick.
Loving the challenge! I am blogging at http://www.Raychelle-Writes.blogspot.com. I do lots of author interviews for my series, "The Writer's Block" in addition to children's book reviews. Guest bloggers are welcome!
I have a blog established at: http://celestialgldfsh.livejournal.com/
The focus is on writing, but every Wednesday I post a recipe.
By the way, I am highly impressed by, and a wee bit jealous of, those of you who maintain multiple blogs. I just have the one, and I don't give it the attention it deserves. Well done!
http://poeticechoesanddancingshadows.blogspot.com/
So, this makes two times that my Comment is taken but not displayed. Hmmm, something's a miss, Watson. Anyway, my blog URL is below, and if I might be allowed a breif rant, please consider allowing anonymous comments on your blogs. Requiring Google sign-in, solving CAPTCHAs and the like only discourage people, or at least me, from commenting unless I'm really motivated. I like the several options we get on this blog.
http://www.joeorozco.com/
Already have a blog. Posted yesterday! =)
www.swthink.blogspot.com
I'm still stuck on day 3. The fb fan page I tried to set up doesn't work the way I thought they do. So I'm setting up another email address to open a brand new fb acct just for writing. My main goal is to then have a website. I know from experience that I do not want my own blog. I do follow some blogs and comment there, but I will not commit to writing my own. But that doesn't mean I am quitting this challenge, just that I'll use it for my preferences and it will still be relevant to helping with my platform. Thx all, your comments are enlightening.
I have a book blog, so I wrote a post today about the April Platform Challenge.

And my twitter: @LeahGonz
I wanted to use my full name but it wasn't available.
www.kirraantrobus.blogspot.com
I already have a blog. This is the address. dumpygrace.blogspot.com
This is really just a personal blog for myself. It is a silly thing where I chat to myself about the writing process. I read once that Elizabeth George journals every day about the trials and tribulations of her writing process. When things seem bleak, she goes back and reminds herself that she has been through difficult times before and pushed through.
By the end of a long day of writing I don't have a lot of energy left for an insightful, literary blog - so I do a little cartooning and add some words.
It is a great mode for debriefing after and it will be a great record of the ups and downs of my second novel.
I am hard at work on a 'Real' Blog that I hope to launch in the next few weeks. It is a blog about making radical change in your life after 40. I'll post a link to this blog once it is live.
My blog is http://mapoetpoems.blogspot.com
Hi Robert,
Here’s my blog. http://pronagger.com
The challenge was easy because I already had a site. So, to push myself, I put up a special and personal post.
Thanks for the incentive.

Whew! I've been working on this one for awhile. I'm aiming for a May 1st launch. My blog will be at www.muddyingthewaters.com but right now...IT'S NOT READY! :) Take a look if you want to see all the nails on the floor and the caution tape strung up everywhere, or wait until May 1st for the (hopefully) polished look!
I, too, am amazed at those of you with more than 1 blog. Kudos to you!

THANKS ROBERT.
My main blog/website www.practicalinspirations.com
and product blog www.betterthanpreschool.com have been sadly neglected since I'm blogging for another organization (a paying gig) www.americanhomeeducation.org/blog
American Home Education gets more attention because I'm paid to do it at least weekly. Along with my other paying projects, I've lost my blogging day.
Maybe I can put Blogday in between Thursday and Friday.
I'm thrilled I've actually made all five days of this challenge so far.
I already have a couple. I started
http://onearlyretirement.blogspot.com in February and http://kathystraveltales.blogspot.com in March.
My one-month-old baby blog is at:
http://dirtygirlswriting.blogspot.com/
**The site is G-rated: "dirty girls" refers to my extraordinary children who are always committing messy capers. This week I had to invoke a new rule about no pet worms in the house.

Hi All,
I've scanned through everyone's comments and I saw several that really pique my interest. I expect it will take me a few days to visit everyone though.
Caryl, don't scrap your personal blogs. If you use them to interact with family, they are an important part of you. Just start another one that will be your "professional" place.
I started out with a non-blog family website and added a non-blog company website when I started doing web design with my brother. Those have since been converted to blogs.
My brother and I also share a roadtrip blog site. It's kind of sporadic because we can't travel as much as we'd like.
My newest effort is my writing blog and that's the one I'll be using for this project:
http://melodypearson.com/
I don't try to post every day, there simply aren't enough hours to go around. I've set myself a goal of, at least, once a week on each blog. However, I hope to increase that for my writing blog since it will be the foundation of my platform.
Done! I've written a new post for today, which I will publish when I get home tonight! Very excited to peruse everyone's blogs and learn from you all!

Here is my blog and today's post. Thanks for the advice to keep it short and sweet -- very difficult for natural born windbags.

I started a blog, Diary of a Word Nerd, in November w/ book reviews and other literary tid bits (ie the hard copy vs. e-books debate) as well as monthly vocabulary improvement posts. I post each week on Friday - figuring it will be easier to start small and add as I get more comfortable. Thanks for all of your blogging tips! http://juliatomiak.blogspot.com
Tks, Robert, for the challenges!

In 28 years, I’ve had 7 breast cysts.
And now, I’ve written a blog about it.
Lumped Together is a (hopefully) amusing and informative retelling of my personal experience, because even if you don’t ever develop a lump, odds are someone close to you might, and breast or otherwise, strange growths in our bodies are kinda scary.

Hey Nicole here. I already have a blog. It's moviefilmreview.com just click on my name on the bottom right, Nicole Hamilton. Until tomorrow.
This is great! http://staciemorrell.wordpress.com
I've maintained my Monday Morning Books blog since 2006. I write about a book I read that week, usually about what I as a writer learned from reading it. The blog grew out of the reading journal I used to keep.

I'm at http://kendramerritt.com/ I talk about writing, reading and living with a disability, and how those three collide.
Also, just got on twitter today. @Kendra_Merritt
I have three active blogs

http://joyinthemorningsv.blogspot.com/
Although I'm a designer of newsletters and print media, I'm a limp lizzie when it comes to blog design. I went with simple and uniform across the board.
I'm on Blogger at http://jenmcpeek.blogspot.com
(and today is done). I'm enjoying this platform building. Hopefully I can keep it up after April!
Yup I've got a blog - or a site with multiple sub-sites and blogs. But they're all linked together. Anyway, here's the two most relevant:

And my obligatory post today is about... this challenge.
Cheers!
Cameron
And now, to attempt the task of following everyone's blogs. Here's mine: http://sopphey.onimpression.com
I love blogging...three years ago I had no idea how to start a blog and now I just can't get enough of them. Here is my website: www.theuncontainabletruth.com. Thanks for the advice!
I have/had quite a few blogs, but I figured I should create one that is meant for my ambitions to be a writer.

My blog is here:
http://sandydgreen.wordpress.com/
I recently attended a writers' conference where a speaker challenged us to post every single day for 90 days!
PS The speaker also said blog titles should be under 75 words.
Hi everyone! Thanks for the follows-- how lovely to go to my Twitter nest and find 58 new followers! Woo~hoo!
My blog is:
CKSWarriorQueen.WordPress.com
Stop in. Stay awhile. Right now, I'm learning to swim, writing a memoir, and finishing the artwork for an illuminated alphabet.
Blogs confound so many people. I have had three. My latest is a year old-- in fact I renewed the annual domain registration today.
Something I've learned not just from blogging but from following others': those blogs who post daily build up in my Inbox like a landfill. (The exception is if the blogger has a name in the industry, such as My Name Is Not Bob.)
For that reason-- and because I'd rather focus on other forms of social networking, the actual writing process, and submitting-- I've decided to scale back my blog to 8 posts a month. If more come out, fine. But to worry about a blog means the Interwebs have too much control, no?

My current blog is http://www.melaniemarttila.ca
It's on WordPress, but, on your excellent advice, I purchased my name as a domain back in January. Little did I know I'd be using it so soon.
My blog used to be labbydog.ca (WordPress again, set up on an independent hosting service), but after 4 months and nearly a hundred posts, someone hacked her. The hosting service insisted on a complete wipe. So now I'm starting over, learning from lessons past, and hopefully doing better the second time around.

Can't wait to drop in on you all this weekend!
It's late, but here is today's challenge done. My link for my first blog is:

Posted something on my cakabala.wordpress.com site today. It's been awhile. Got to get back up to speed.
I am at:
http://puckettpuckette.blogspot.com
and
Today I created a "Hi, here I am," post and backdated it to the (recent) beginning of the blog.
I also co-author with a friend of mine at:
http://gremlinlottery.blogspot.com
I re-tooled its design to something less blah but still readable, I think.
Good to have been prompted to sit down and pull together a cohesive vision for each.
Hmm...I only have time to blog once a month. I'll have to work on blogging once a week even if it's a blurb. Here is my blog:

:)
By the way Thank YOU!! It is really awesome connecting with all of my fellow Platform Challengers!!
My blog is http://OneStoryAtATime.blogspot.com where I show people how to save their own family stories.
For now, url is simply skipperhammond.wordpress.com. It's been that since I created the blog--I've forgotten how long ago. Just renewed my own domain name with NameCheap.com, but still don't know how to point it to the Wordpress blog and am not in a hurry because I don't know how to sustain a consistent schedule of posts.
I differ with "Not Bob's"Just-Do-It approach, since the blog is so at the core of an online platform. If it's boring, ill-conceived, foolish chatter, you the blogger/author will appear as boring, foolish and ill-conceived--more noise in the blogosphere. Could be worse than nothing.
I think I found the concept and voice I want for my blog, but don't know how to come up with the material--about Florida environment and culture--when it's necessary that I live in the Midwest. What's the point in adding to the thousands of wannabee authors groaning about the agonies of writers block? Yuck. Or tapping exclamation after exclamation? Posts peppered with WOW are putting me to sleep. Before I invite people to read my blog, I want it to speak well of me. That's more than a one-day assignment.
Got a blog, which is extremely inactive. Gotta decide which direction to go as I revamp/reinvent it.
Link to my blog: http://sky-highview.blogspot.com/
Glad to say I started my blog just over 3 months ago and it has been an enjoyable experience, although I am still learning as I go along.
You can find me at paulajhowell.blogspot.com
I look forward to viewing the complete list of blog url's you have agreed to put together for us.
Hi Robert. I forgot to post my twitter yesterday: BrandiDaniels also here is my writing blog, which has been active since November. http://writeyourownworld.blogspot.com

Hi, Robert,
You didn't pick up my Twitter name, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. It is
@madeline40
My problem is I've reached the limit of adding new follows. Is there a work around to that?
Also, I already have a blog: Choices.
http://madeline40.blogspot.com
and I also blog at Red Room and post monthly at two other sites. So I'm kind of a blogging fool -- all to the good of my platform.
Thanks so much for your help.
First-timer. Started a new blog at http://jenniferjchow.blogspot.com/

My blog is http://taylorspeak.wordpress.com/ I'm writing a poem a day for National Poetry Month and posting link updates here. I love your posts and am sort of behind in reading. Thanks for you helpful insights.

Thanks Robert.
My blog is: www.erinbradypike.com
Mine is mobyjoecafe.wordpress.com It's a great way to keep the writing channel open. It's transitional, a stake in the ground, and as time goes on, I wonder if I'll need to split it apart, but so far, the audience seems to like both the essays and the poetry since they have a similar voice.
Done. ;)

I'm receiving my e-mail notifications of new posts the day after the post. Hope I'm not too late -- www.meghancarver.blogspot.com

Whoops, DONE!
My blog is Our Lost Jungle, where I've been writing on everything from poetry to teaching to rejection letters, and all the fun stuff in between!
Done. I have two active blogs, one for parenting (earthmonkeymama) and one for my writing (elissafield), both on Wordpress. Links to both are below.
When I first started, I only posted when I had something really important to say (reason: as online samples of my writing, I didn't want blogs that were rushed/poorly edited), but I've become more comfortable and now generally post once a week on my main blog (elissafield).
http://elissafield.wordpress.com/
on writing and life in general
http://earthmonkeymama.wordpress.com/
on parenting and teaching
I have two blogs - http://choosethelight.blogspot.com and that was updated today and yesterday. The other is about The Lord of the Rings - http://momentsofgracelotr.blogspot.com. It was updated last Saturday.

Here is my blog url:

I use it to post weekly literary notices for Canadian Authors Association, National Capital Region, and to post about the weekly challenge I am doing under No-Comfort Zone. This challenge has to do with one of my long term goals of submissions. I also have been using it to post the NaPoWriMo poems that I am doing.

While i have a blog on my website, i decided to start a brand new blog on blogger and it took me FOREVER to construct! Luckily for me "forever" ended about 10 minutes ago so here it is:

they are both really basic, but i'm working on it.
Can't wait to catch up with everyone else's.

As with some other April challenge friends, I'm posting tasks 4 and 5. I'm leaning heavy of the leniency early in the game. Not good, I know, but better late jumping on this blog train than never.

Evelyn, your site re education looks quite helpful to teachers and all re children's literature.
I almost clicked on learning and teaching math; i need to learn; but i see, as we all do, how inundated we are with all our blogs. My goal is to visit all of them; a little bit at a time, and i think this is all fabulous!

(Technically, the blog is called Poe-Query.)
Done! I've had my blog for some time now, although I've just started to keep up with posting regularly. I struggled for a while with choosing and sticking with a host, I jumped between Blogger and Wordpress a zillion times before I decided I liked Blogger better!

1) I created my page with Apple's iWeb and publish through MobileMe. Now that MobileMe is going away, I have until June to find a complete new system. WordPress--published through what? Other?
2) Blogging quandary: I prefer humorous writing. Will I ruin my known/recognized voice by inserting a few serious topics. Opinions?

I have had a blog for nine months at http://agoofyidea.com. It is my first on-line business venture. A Goofy Idea is an unoffical Disney website where I give tips on how to have a happy trip to the Disney Parks. Once my new book series is farther along I will start a new blog about writing.
OK, here I am at www.elizabethingersoll.blogspot.com. Time to resurrect it, I think :-)
I deleted my old blogs floating out there like jellyfish for classes and projects and what have you, and have started a new one with new posts.

Hi, I've added Add-On, or subscribed. Question, where do I put it? I'll find it by hook or by crook. My dendrites and I are dancing with LinkedIn-it's complicated, but I've got a call out to friends who are more savvy. Meanwhile I like my blog but also feel as if a lace doily is being created over my head, and I can't catch up with all the threads. Have a good day everyone!
Pray for me in my hour of trial; upside down smile!
Hi guys! I'm a couple days late and trying to get caught up. My blog is called "My Writing Life" and here's the address: http://www.michellereynoso.blogspot.com/
Sorry I'm a little behind here! My blog is www.poorandglutenfree.blogspot.com, it's mostly recipes and info on living healthy and sustainable on a budget, but this challenge is making me think I should be incorporating other aspects of my life, or shifting focus a bit!!
Now I just need advice on how to balance the Facebook, Twitter, blog, family, work, etc.
http://howmuchgreater.blogspot.com/
I'll be sad when I finally catch up and only have one part of the challenge to do each day

Hi, I really don't blog on Goodreads, but I read other's blogs. I love Goodreads, Powell's Daily Dose, Bookbrowse from Pasadena Library, any list of books. So many wonderful writers. I got add-on; don't know where to put it; still figuring out linkedin, noted not many people pleased with this outfits lack of clear instructions; happy trails to you all.
My Blog is http://thekitchensgarden.wordpress.com/ and it has been up for almost a year. i post daily.t is all about the little farm that I run to grow my own food..and live sustainably and as self sufficiently as possible.. it is a journey.. c
I started a blog the beginning of February of this year to write about living in rural France near the Swiss border, and I post around once a week at http:/cernwife.blogspot.com/
I'm working to find a schedule to blog. I'm such a procrastinator at times. I've had both of the blogs I'm posting, but I don't have regular posts, which I know I should. Sitting tonight at my Toastmaster's meeting, I came up with a third blog to start.
http://fromthewritersmind.blogspot.com/

My blog is at http://www.GoingVeggie.com/wordpress. I need to catch up on my podcast interviews and blot posts. This challenge is helping! Also discovered a fellow foodie here and will be tweeting about her site. Love these unexpected benefits!
I've had my art blog for several years, but I think it needs to be more focused. This challenge has a lot to teach me. I can't say "done," but I've added Blog to my goal sheet. I'm wondering if I should blend my Web site and blog to make them easier to update.
http://nitaleland.blogspot.com
I started a blog of my own in November after doing one for Working Mother Magazine for over a year.
I only write once a week. I do really informational blogs (on volunteering and charity ideas) and it takes me time to do them well. I know I should do them more often, but I'm wondering how. I have a list of like 200 ideas so that's usually not the problem, it's finding time to research and make the ideas into a whole blog. How long does it take you to write a blog? How often do you suggest blogging? Thanks for the information.
I write blogs quickly but there's not a dot of research in them; that's my style; when I write pieces, the stuff comes out quickly but then I rewrite and rewrite, for instance if for a book.
As a researcher I would think you have to have several blogs in reserve and then post; you can't compromise on quality.
I started my blog on WordPress
apdiggs.wordpress.com
My first 30 posts are about this challenge.
Done! I've had a blog for years. blog.sarahmakela.com
oops. I created on Blogger. name Penny Tennant. I didn't write my URL down. How do I get it?
