Advice for Writers: 036

This past week was sort of weird with Jane Friedman running out of advice (for now anyway--and good luck to Jane in all she's about to accomplish with VQR), but I've still been able to hunt down plenty of great stuff for writers.

• 25 Things You Should Know About Writing Fantasy, by Chuck Wendig. Another 25 things list from the king of 25 things lists.
• How We Choose the Best Publisher, by Rachelle Gardner. Rachelle shares how literary agents choose the best publisher for each project they represent.
• New Literary Agent Alert: Linda Glaz of Hartline Literary Agency, by Chuck Sambuchino. Chuck is always sharing new agent alerts, how I got my agent stories, and more. Best agent blog from a non-agent.
• Are You Writing Your Novel Too Fast?, by K.M. Weiland. I do it too; that is, I start a project wanting to get it finished as soon as humanly possible. But writing is often better when we take a moment to breathe (and consider).
• How to Maximize eBook Royalties and Minimize Hassles, by Ray Rhamey. Ray shares the best way to get the most out of your DIY eBook project and explains what works best for him.
